About Adam Long

Educated in the St. Louis region he has a BA in Art Education from Maryville University, an MA in Studio Art and an MFA in Sculpture from Fontbonne University. He has been an art educator for fifteen years, working in public middle and high schools as well as at the university level. This picture is very meaningful. The plastic waste in our seas endangers more and more animal species and in the end also us humans.

Petra, Thank you. I am doing my best to educate people about this problem. This sculpture series will be used to raise money to give to not-for-profit organizations working to clean the oceans and help wildlife impacted by our plastic waste. I live far from the ocean, but about a kilometer from the largest river system in the USA which floats many kilograms of plastic into the ocean each day. Thank you for your care and support.
