to find out more about it. A kickstarter is coming soon. Prints purchased on this website help support the project and you can also purchase an original sculpture for $50 (color and pose are subject to availability as the sculptures are made from found plastic litter. Requests will be honored where possible).
This is a photograph of a newly hatched Baby Sea Turtle making its way to the sea has a Taco Bell sauce packet found on a roadside imbedded within. From the Feral Plastic series by Adam Long Sculpture. It is created from water clear resin embedded with found plastic litter collected by the artist that would have otherwise gotten washed into the river and ocean ecosystem. Supporting this project helps Adam Long Sculpture create adult sized sea turtles, promote the work, ship sculptures to exhibit locations, and monetarily support organizations doing good work for wildlife and our eco systems. Please be responsible with your plastic.

This picture is very meaningful. The plastic waste in our seas endangers more and more animal species and in the end also us humans.
Adam Long replied:
Petra, Thank you. I am doing my best to educate people about this problem. This sculpture series will be used to raise money to give to not-for-profit organizations working to clean the oceans and help wildlife impacted by our plastic waste. I live far from the ocean, but about a kilometer from the largest river system in the USA which floats many kilograms of plastic into the ocean each day. Thank you for your care and support.
