Caught in the act! Congratulations on the tie for 3rd place in the recent Best Squirrel Image contest. The FAA display is arbitrary, random and, in terms of ties, rotating. Go by the number of votes :)
Adam Long replied:
Thank you! I assumed it was an arbitrary display....I didn't observe rotating! I'll have to watch for that...interesting.

Squirrels always seem to know where the "goodies" are---whether it's the bird feeder or a pumpkin on the back porch. They make cheap entertainment when you hang a cob of corn in a very difficult place and they try several methods to reach the treasure. This is so amusing. Right place with the camera. Thanks for sharing.
Adam Long replied:
I rarely have to compost our Jack-o-Lanterns...they magically disappear to become a different kind of fertilizer. Our squirrels are a fun breed.

Thanks for the smile! What a charming capture! Love the position of those hind feet!
Adam Long replied:
You are too kind. When I saw what she was doing I set up the camera and waited.
